RJ WORKSPACE has focused on designing products and bringing new concepts to the commercial furniture market to date. RJ's commitment to strengthening it's ability to achieve better solutions led to amalgamating forces with Select Workplace Solutions.
Radek Lasota believes that Michael Been's wealth of experience and knowledge acquired over many years of serving the industry will greatly assist RJ Workspace in achieving their ambitious yet realistic goals.
On the 5th of June 2007 we were saddened to farewell one of our founders and Radek's greatest companion Pike. She will be greatly missed.
Our security will have to be reviewed as Pike has never failed in her duties as Head of Security.
Pike will be immortalized by our new product named after her.
We are happy to announce a birth of Billie Messiter. Toby (our IT Manager) and Tran are delighted with their 2.455kg little treasure. Coco will have to get used to sharing all the fun with her brand new sister.
At the end of March 2007 dealers from around the world attended China's International Furniture Fair in Guangzhou upon which they descended on 'Success World' to witness the launch of 2 new RJ products: RTculate and Tok Tok.
'Success World' is the largest manufacturer of commercial furniture in China with a 400 000 square feet facility at Sun Sing in Shenzhen and 400 000 square feet factory in Beijing.
RJ's relationship with Success World started 3 years ago when Radek Lasota, Managing Director for RJ, commissioned Success World to manufacture the RJ 'Cargo' storage range. The Success World directors: Mr. Cheng Yum Lam (product design), Mr Lee Man Fai(marketing and sales) and Mr. Chiang Sheng Huo (production) expressed their interest in the RJ products for markets in Asia and Middle East. They were especially interested in the RJ 'RTCulate' range. The relationship blossomed and Radek has established a very close relationship with Mr Cheng.
The presentation launch took 2 hours with Q&A after. The dealers were impressed with the simplicity, geometry and aesthetics of the product. "I was impressed with the level of knowledge shown by the visitors. Their familiarity with world trends and environmental issues concerning products and manufacturing processes was of highest standard." commented Radek after the presentation.
After the main event the RJ 'RTCulate' range was presented to JKHALIG A. A-JURAID EST. from Saudi Arabia. Present were Mr K.A Al-Juraid (General Manager), Mr Herbert T. Samuel (Business Development Manager), Ms Basma K. Bader (Design Manager) and other members of their team. The product will be presented to their client (Saudi Oil Company) for a global contract and sold to the broader Middle East market.
"It was an exciting event and a positive start to exporting Australian IP to the World. My intention is to continue designing and developing Intellectual Property that appeals to markets in Australia and Overseas" Radek commented after the event.
By agreement with Success World all RJ products will be manufactured in compliance with ISO 14001 and Global Reporting Initiative.
